How do you make a permanent transfer?

  • Log in to your Nickel App
  • Go to the "Transactions" tab
  • Click on "New transfer" then "Permanent transfer"
  • Then select the beneficiary from the list displayed, or add a new beneficiary

When adding a beneficiary, we advise you to enter the first and last name precisely as they appear on their bank details (RIB). Avoid using nicknames, abbreviations, or incomplete names. This will allow us to verify that the entered bank details match the intended person and thus limit the risk of fraud.

For information, adding a new beneficiary will be processed within 24 to 48 hours. During this time, transfers will not be possible. 

  • Enter the amount of the permanent transfer and click Next
  • Set the frequency and date of the first transfer, then click Next
  • Check all the information and click on "Authorise the transfer". 

Your permanent transfer has been created!

3 days before a permanent transfer is issued, it appears as an "upcoming transaction".

Standing orders validated before October 9, 2025, are not affected by beneficiary verification, even if their execution takes place after this date. However, for all standing orders entered from October 9, 2025, beneficiary verification will be automatic and performed only once during setup.

A permanent transfer can be deleted up to 24 hours before the next date of issue. Otherwise, the transfer cannot be canceled.

A permanent transfer will go through only if you have sufficient funds on your account.
