Pay at the gas station with my Nickel card
You can of course use your Nickel card to pay for gas.
When you pay:
- on automatic fuel dispensers:
Automatic fuel pumps request a debit charge for an amount generally between €90 and €150 before granting you permission to refuel.
Your account balance doesn't need to cover the maximum requested amount. For example, if you have €70 in your account and the pump requests authorization for €130, it will automatically adjust the fueling amount to your available balance.
Your Nickel account balance will then be debited for the actual amount at the end of your fueling.
- at the gas station counter:
The amount charged is exactly what you spent.
