How do I replace my Nickel card and how much does it cost?
If you simply want to change your offer or card design, please refer to our article on ordering a card.
If your card is lost, misplaced, blocked, damaged, or if you are a victim of fraud, you must first block your card.
Once your card is blocked, you can replace it with a new Nickel Classic, My Nickel, Nickel Chrome or Nickel Metal card.
For minors, the card must be replaced by the legal representative. The minor does not have to be present.
I am ordering a My Nickel, Nickel Chrome or Nickel Metal card:
Once your card is blocked, you can order your new My Nickel, Nickel Chrome or Nickel Metal card directly from your Nickel Application or web Customer Area.
What are the replacement fees?
My Nickel Card: €10. The card is valid for 5 years.
Nickel Chrome Card: €10.
Nickel Metal Card: €50.
Your new card will be delivered directly to your home within 15 working days.
I want to get a new card immediately:
- Once your card is blocked, you will automatically be sent a replacement code by SMS.
- Then go to the Nickel Point of Sale of your choice, together with your ID and your replacement code.
- Purchase a new Nickel card for €25 from your Nickel distributor. Nickel will refund €12.50 to your account immediately after replacing the card.
- You will receive the new PIN for your new Nickel card by text message.
If you had a Nickel Premium or Nickel Metal card, you still benefit from your premium offer's advantages (even with a physical Nickel Classic card).
Your bank details remain unchanged. You will keep the same IBAN.
To log in to your web customer area or the Nickel app with your new card, use your new identifier. You will find it on the back of your card.
