You can use your Nickel card at all merchants that accept Mastercard payments.

Specifically, you can:

• Make cash withdrawals at any ATM and at Nickel points of sale
• Make in-store payments
• Make online payments on all websites that accept Mastercard payments
• Make purchases abroad: Mastercard is accepted in over 200 countries

When might my Nickel card not be accepted?

• At physical or online merchants that don't accept Mastercard, although they are quite rare.
• For transactions requiring a credit card: this might be the case for renting a car or booking a hotel room. Nickel cards are debit cards, like most payment cards issued in Belgium.
