How to open a Youth Account 12-17?

Nickel is open to everyone aged 12 and over, and costs just €20 a year.
Are you the legal representative of a minor over 12? You can open an account for him/her.
- Go to our dedicated page and let us guide you! It only takes a few minutes to sign up online. Once you've registered, you'll receive a 5-digit code by SMS.
- Go to the tobacconist or Point Nickel of your choice with:
- your 5-digit code (valid for 15 days)
- your ID and that of the minor represented
- €25 for the purchase of the card
Once the card has been collected:
- The merchant gives you a proof of account opening with your bank details
- You receive the Mastercard secret code by SMS
- The card can be used immediately
At the same time, the legal representative will receive his or her parent ID by email, and will be able to apply for a My Nickel card for the minor for just €10 more every 5 years (for as long as your card is valid).

As a parent or legal guardian, you do not have to be a Nickel client to open a Nickel Youth Account
