How does the annual subscription fee work?

The annual fee for your Nickel account is €20. It is automatically deducted from your account on the anniversary date of your account opening. You don't need to go back to your Nickel Point to pay it.

For example: if you opened your account on 26 June 2022, the fee will be deducted on 26 June 2023.

What happens if I have less than €20 in my account?

The fee will be partially deducted from the available balance and your Nickel account will be temporarily blocked. Once the missing amount has been deducted, your account will be unblocked within 24 hours.

My account is blocked, what should I do?

To unblock your account, simply top it up with €20.

If we are unable to deduct the annual fee within 3 months of your anniversary date, we will be obliged to close your account.

The €20 annual fee applies to all Nickel customers. Those who have chosen a My Nickel, Nickel Premium or Nickel Metal card will also have to pay the subscription fee for their nominative card offer: €10 every 5 years for My Nickel, €30 for Premium and €80 for Metal. These fees are deducted automatically on the anniversary date of the offer.
