Can I reopen my Nickel account if I had one in the past?
Yes, if you have opened a Nickel account in Belgium in the past, you can reopen it. Please note that if you previously had a Nickel account in another country (for example, France), it is not yet possible to reopen it in Belgium.

Visit https://welcome.nickel.eu/en-be re-register with Nickel and be guided by the steps.
- By calling our Customer Service:
Contact our Customer Service by phone at 02 891 29 80. They will verify your information and check if you are eligible to reopen your account.
If your personal information has changed (for example, your address), they may ask you to send supporting documents by email.
Once we have received the documents, Nickel will check the information and validate your request to reopen your account.
What happens after my application is approved?
Once your application has been validated:
- You will receive a code via SMS
- Go to your favorite Nickel Point
- Show your received code and your ID
- Buy your new Nickel card for €25.
Your bank details (IBAN) remain the same!
