Essentials to know about Nickel's Amazon Prime offer?

The Nickel and Amazon Prime partnership offer allows Nickel customers to benefit from several months of Amazon Prime subscription, offered by Nickel. The duration of this subscription varies depending on the Nickel card held: 

  • 6 months for Nickel Chrome cardholders 
  • 12 months for Nickel Metal cardholders 

If you wish to benefit from a longer duration, you have the option to upgrade to a higher card offer. For example, switch from a Classic card to a Chrome card, or from a Chrome card to a Metal card before activating the Amazon Prime offer.

Important: 

Each Nickel customer can only activate the offer once within a rolling 12-month period. Therefore, to maximize your benefit, we advise you to choose the card corresponding to the desired duration before activating your Amazon Prime subscription.
 

Who can benefit from this offer? 
This offer is intended for all Nickel Chrome and Metal customers, whether they are existing customers or open an account during the promotional offer's validity period. To benefit from it, you must also: 

  • Be a physical person aged 18 or over. 
  • Reside in metropolitan France (including Corsica, with specific delivery and service details for Amazon Prime, available here). 
  • Have a Nickel account that is up-to-date with contributions and functional. 
  • Have at least 15 days of Nickel customer seniority. 
  • Not have already benefited from an Amazon Prime offer via Nickel in the last 12 months.

Where can I find my activation link?
Your personal activation link, a unique promotional URL, provides you with a free trial and smooth activation. It is available directly in your Nickel mobile application ("Account" section) or will be sent to you by email. After ordering your Nickel Chrome or Metal card, or opening your Nickel account, you will receive your promotional code within 15 days.

How to activate my Nickel Amazon Prime offer? 

  1.  Click on the link you received (in the Nickel app or by email). This link will direct you to the activation page and then to the dedicated Amazon Prime link. 
  2. Log in to your Amazon account (or create one if necessary) 
  3. Provide a valid payment method (your Nickel card) and a mandatory billing address. No amount will be debited during the promotional period (which can last up to 12 months depending on your offer). 

Once activated, you will enjoy all Prime benefits for the entire duration of this free period. 
If you need help finding your link or promotional code, please do not hesitate to contact Nickel Customer Service. Beyond the offer period provided by Nickel, you will then be charged by Amazon Prime at the monthly rate of €6.99. If you do not wish to extend your subscription, you can cancel it online in your Amazon account.

I am already subscribed to Amazon Prime, can I benefit from the offer? 
This offer cannot be combined with an ongoing Prime subscription or other promotions. To activate the Nickel offer, you will first need to cancel your current Amazon Prime subscription or wait for it to expire.

Why do I need to provide a payment method to activate the free offer? 
Amazon requires a valid payment method upon activation, even for a free period. This ensures the automatic renewal of your Amazon Prime subscription at the end of the free period, should you choose to keep it. Remember to provide your Nickel card details.

What happens at the end of the free period? 
At the end of the Nickel promotional period, your Amazon Prime subscription will automatically renew at the standard price of €6.99 per month (rate effective at the time of renewal, and subject to change by Amazon). The payment will then be debited from the payment method you have registered.

How can I cancel automatic renewal to avoid being charged? 
You can cancel the automatic renewal of your Amazon Prime subscription at any time, except during the promotional period offered with Nickel. To do this, log in to your Amazon account, go to the "Account & Lists" section, then "Prime", select "Manage membership", and finally, click on "End membership".
