Everything you need to know about personal data processing

Since 2016, the Banque de France has been asking payment institutions to get to know their clients better. This is why we need to obtain certain personal information from you. 
As part of the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD), you notably have the right to access, rectify and delete your personal data.

Get an export of your personal data :

You are a Nickel client: 

  1. Log in to your web Customer Area
  2. Go to the "PROFILE" tab
  3. Click on "View my profile"
  4. Click on "Personal data" / "Connection history" depending on the information you wish to obtain
  5. Re-enter your personal code
  6. The document downloads automatically

If you are a partner tobacconist or are in the process of becoming one: 
Contact us at the following e-mail address, using the e-mail address you have provided us: donneespersonnelles@nickel.eu

Limit the processing of your personal data:

You are a Nickel client: 
You can give or withdraw your consent to the use of your personal data directly on your Nickel Application or your web Customer Area.

You are a partner tobacconist or a tobacconist in the process of being approved: 
Nickel processes your personal data exclusively within the framework of the contract that binds you to us. In this context, we are unable to limit the processing of your personal data.

You are not a Nickel customer, nor a partner tobacconist: 
You cannot request the limitation of processing of your personal data, but you can request the deletion of your data. The deletion of your data automatically entails the deletion of the processing of that data.

 

Request the deletion of your personal data:

You are a Nickel customer, a partner tobacconist or a tobacconist in the process of being approved:
All the personal data we hold about you is necessary for the performance of your contract with Nickel. We are therefore unable to delete this data.

You are no longer a Nickel client:
To request the deletion of your personal data, send an email to the following address: donneespersonnelles@nickel.eu
Send your request from the email address used for your subscription, specifying your last name, first name and date of birth. Banking regulations require us to keep your personal data for 10 years after closing your account. Your data will be deleted once the statutory retention period has elapsed. We will send you a confirmation email when this has been done.

You have never been a Nickel client or partner tobacconist:
If you have already contacted Nickel for any information request, we probably hold personal data about you. 
To request the deletion of your personal data, please send an email to donneespersonnelles@nickel.eu from the email address with which you have already contacted us, and/or specifying your last name, first name and date of birth. 
We will proceed with the deletion of your data from our systems, and will send you a confirmation e-mail when this has been done.
